Janis has over fifteen years of experience working in the construction field. In that time, Janis has overseen all levels of government contracts. She is highly skilled in Contract Administration, Business Development, Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance & Control. She is licensed as a Class A Contractor in Virginia and West Virginia, and a successful 8(a) graduate with over $40M in Federal Government Contracting. She has past experience managing contracts with the Smithsonian Institution, Department of Justice, Department of Defense, and the General Service Administration.

Mike Jones

Michael has over forty years of experience in the construction field and has held a Virginia Master Plumber/Gasfitter license since 1981. Michael has extensive experience in all aspects of Plumbing and Gas installation, renovation and service work and has proven experience troubleshooting many MEP related issues. Michael has been Director of Operations with GP Contracting for 15 years. His expertise in Quality Control and Risk Management has been evident in numerous successful projects with various Federal clients, including Smithsonian Institution, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, U.S. Army MICC, FBI, DOI, and NAVFAC.

Project Manager

Natalie has been with GP Contracting since 2016. Prior to joining the GP team, Natalie interned at Lockheed Martin and Booz Allen Hamilton for a total of 3 years honing her analytical, organizational and communication skills. Her proven ability to manage all types of complex projects is invaluable. She is very detail oriented and meticulous in her work. She develops deliverable schedules for the team, creates and tracks project submittals, and constructs weekly status updates for project executives. She has coordinated multiple projects with Federal Clients including the Smithsonian Institution and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.

Rick Moyer

Rick has been Field Supervisor with GP Contracting since 2016. Most of Rick’s 35 plus years’ experience in construction has been working at multiple locations of the Smithsonian Institution throughout the DC Metro area. Rick is responsible for onsite quality control and safety. Rick excels at communication with key team leaders, facilities and subcontractors.
